About Me

I completed my Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from the Institute of Transpersonal Psychology (aka Sofia University) and my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Entrepreneurship from California State University in Long Beach. I trained at the Center for Creative Growth where I completed their Foundations in Clinical Mastery program. I then continued to gain immense experience working with trauma, depression, and anxiety with at-risk youth at La Cheim School, a non-profit mental health organization treating underserved youth and their families. During my undergraduate studies, I fell in love with the practice of Yoga and completed a personally transformative training through the Sivananda Yoga tradition. I have taught yoga and meditation to thousands of students publicly and privately throughout California and continue to teach throughout the Bay Area. I specialize in Restorative Yoga and Mindfulness which I also bring into psychotherapy sessions as a way to experience mindfulness and stress reduction. My on-going experience with Vipassana meditation strongly informs my approach to healing.
