About This Group

Adolescence is an emotional and psychological minefield. Teenagers are constantly forced to negotiate difficult situations and transitions. Adolescent groups foster the skills needed to master this pursuit, covering the issues that middle and high school students confront daily: peer pressure, social anxiety, sexual orientation or family difficulties. Groups provide a safe place for members to learn social skills, define self-identity, boost emotional intelligence and establish healthy boundaries.
