|Duration: 90 minutes|
|Group Size: up to 10|
This will be a closed group limited to 10 people who are interested in improving their social skills. The focus will be on learning and practice in a safe, supportive environment with others. You will be able to discuss how to communicate well with neurotypical and other neurodiverse individuals. In my role as a clinical psychologist, I have worked both personally and through groups with individuals who struggle with feeling comfortable and safe in communicating with others. We will focus on strengths and weaknesses in communication and interpersonal relationships, with the goal being improved confidence and comfort in all types of social situations.
Clinical Psychologist, Educator, Consultant
She/Her I was trained as a clinical psychologist, and have worked for years in my private practice. In addition, I have spent significant time over the past four years consulting in the mental health and technology space in order to make psychological services accessible to a greater number of people. I am passionate about helping people heal and grow, and most importantly, truly understand themselves. The groups that I run are a combination of process and psycho-education, and are NOT therapy groups. This distinction allows me to reach many more individuals, as I am not restricted to the state that I am licensed in (California).
