Justified. When our anger flares, we feel justified in our anger because let's face it, anger is a natural AND healthy response to something that upsets us. But here's the thing, while we may be responding in a way that feels authentic, our responses can quickly become unhealthy and negatively impact our lives.
This group is far from a "traditional" therapy process group-- I believe music and laughter can heal any wound and amplify learning. You will have your fair share of psycho-education, homework, and therapeutic group processing. The curriculum used is SAMSHA approved and meets the requirements for court-approved anger management classes if certification is needed.

Licensed Mental Health Counselor
I've found over the last 10 years that it's really hard to get to the therapy techniques if the client doesn't trust me or the process. So when I hear my clients tell me now that I'm the "realest therapist" they've ever worked with, I take that as a huge compliment.
