One of the certainties of life is that we’ll all face a challenge that we feel breaks us to our very core. These complex traumas can take various forms but they impact us from top to bottom and can prevent us from simple everyday activities like sleeping and spending time with family. It may be hard for you to trust people, and to feel safe. While these traumas might shake us, they don’t need to engulf us.
In this psycho-educational group, we will learn how to recognize the symptoms of trauma, and learn concrete skills for dealing with triggers, improving interpersonal relationships, and learning grounding strategies to help live life in fully in the present.
Due to the sensitive natures of this group, members will be screened carefully for inclusion. Please also note that this is not a therapy group - rather a teaching group and a place to ask questions about C-PTSD in a supportive environment.
