About This Group

A personal growth group for those seeking to find and maintain harmony between body, mind, and spirit. In this time of physical isolation, juggling work, family, and health, we can become divorced from our holistic self, fragmented in the unprecedented stressors of a pandemic. As we see how long term this might be, our endurance framework might be inadequate for the marathon. This group can help prepare us to stay the long haul and accommodate to a new normal in which we can still grow and flourish. During group, we will experientially practice ways to explore, reflect, and attend to ourselves and others, grounding the self and body, while staying supported and in relationship with others.

Dr. Choudhuri is an Licensed Professional Counselor in Connecticut and Michigan, a professor of counseling, and a board-certified mental health counselor and clinical supervisor, with over 20 years of experience working with clients individually, as well as in couples, families, and groups. She specializes in cross cultural and diversity issues, as well as trauma and loss and is a certified EMDR Therapist.
